Musings: Life Lessons

It’s amazing how Allah teaches us values through the smallest of things that we might have missed.

It hasn’t rained in ages (weeks? days?) and only today, it started raining heavily. It felt like my room was drenched in a pile of snow above the heat and I feel so relieved. The heat was really constricting these days.

That’s just a simple thing. I can’t fathom the world without rain. Imagine all the moisture gets sucked up into the atmosphere and none coming back down. We are probably dead.

Not only rain.

Even the simplest of things. Humans. People. The joy of having company. I wish I could cherish it more, because life on Earth is short. I won’t know if I see the people I meet now in akhirat or the afterlife.

Life lessons, they say.

Leave some potato love! I'd love to hear from you.
