24 Ramadan 1439H.

Tonight was the first time I performed my tarawih prayers at the mosque this Islamic year with other Muslims.

During fardhu Isya’ prayers, the first Amin was such a beautiful sound. As it is Lailatul Qadr, many Muslims from the neighbourhoods around the mosque come to pray. That Amin was so touching that I realised how pure it sounded to my heart.

Perhaps I have been to far from my religion all the while, and that simple Amin made me realise that it’s not too late to come back to the path. Faith is such a personal struggle, that we all face on different levels. Impossible to compare.

May we complete this month with pure intentions, Insya’Allah.

Leave some potato love! I'd love to hear from you.
